Censor

RustLicenseStatus

Censor isn’t just another regex bot. It’s a high-performance AI moderator built with Rust, designed to actually understand how people talk in South Asian and international communities.

Most filters fail when you switch languages or mix them. Censor thrives there. It handles English, Hindi, and Hinglish natively. It reads between the lines to catch evasion attempts, meaning users can’t bypass it just by adding spaces or using leetspeak (like b@d w0rd).

Why use Censor?

  • It’s Fast (Rust 🦀): Since it’s written in Rust, message processing is near-instant. It doesn’t lag your chat.
  • It Speaks Hinglish: It knows phonetic variations. It understands that “kutta” is a slur in Hindi, even if written in English script.
  • Smart Pattern Detection: It looks for intent and patterns, not just a hardcoded list of strings.
  • Granular Control: You decide what flies. Block “Spam” but allow “Controversial” topics? You can do that.
  • Slash Commands: No complex dashboards. Manage everything right from Discord.
